Culture
The Somari are a mobile people, defined by movement rather than settlement. They are a people the Empire knows only as a problem to be managed, which means their actual culture exists almost entirely in the gaps or in field research notes.
Politics
The Somari have no seat at any table in Imperial halls, politically useful to everyone and politically represented by no one.
Economy
The Somari are known to engage in raiding, creating instability along western supply routes. They are outside the formal trade economy entirely, which the houses frame as criminality and which is more accurately described as a people doing what people do outside of arbitrary constraints.
